Digital platform for the wood industry

Manage raw material inventories, plan production batches, trace supply chains.

TimberFlow combines inventory management, batch tracking, and origin documentation in a single central application. Wood processing companies record round timber and sawn timber in real time, check quality directly on the line, and pass every batch on to the customer with a complete proof of origin. The platform is tailored to the requirements of Austrian sawmills and forestry operations and can be integrated with existing ERP systems.

Functions for daily operations

TimberFlow bundles the most important tools for managing raw material inventories, production batches, and supply chains in one interface. The modules are tailored to the workflows of sawmills, forestry operations, and downstream processing facilities.

Real-time inventory overview Round timber, sawn timber, and residual materials are continuously recorded and filtered in the dashboard by storage location, wood type, and batch. This way, you can always see which quantities are available and when replenishment needs to be scheduled.
Batch planning Production orders can be sequenced by priority, machine capacity, and material availability. Changes to one order are automatically transferred to subsequent steps, preventing scheduling conflicts.
Origin documentation Each batch is linked from the forest to delivery with place of origin, harvest date, and certificates. The seamless documentation meets the requirements of the EU Timber Regulation and significantly simplifies audits.
Quality protocols Measurement data from production is captured directly at the line and linked to the respective batches. Deviations from target values are flagged immediately and are available for error analysis.
Supplier and customer management All business partners are stored with their delivery and purchase terms. Orders and delivery notes are created digitally and can be traced at any time.
Reports and export Monthly reports on goods receipt, production, and shipping are generated automatically. The data can be exported as CSV or PDF and transferred directly to existing accounting systems.

Modules for Your Operation

Three expansion stages tailored to the size of your sawmill or forestry operation. Each stage can be expanded later without having to migrate existing data.

Reviews from Sawmills and Forestry Operations

Our platform is used daily in the wood industry. Here, operations from Austria report on how they use TimberFlow to digitalize their processes and make the supply chain more transparent.

Ing. Jasmin Springer B.Sc. Head of Production Planning

The real-time inventory has fundamentally changed our warehousing. We now see immediately which batches are available and can identify bottlenecks in production at an early stage. The integration into our ERP system was surprisingly straightforward.

Sonja Bischof Quality Management

The digital inspection protocols save us several hours per week. The documentation for certifications is now complete, and we have significantly reduced the error rate in production. The mobile data capture directly at the line works flawlessly.

Forstbetrieb Reiter GmbH Lower Austria

The complete origin documentation is a decisive competitive advantage for us. Our customers appreciate the transparency, and audit times have dropped by almost half. The platform is robust, and the operation is intuitive after a short training period.

Sägewerk Huber & Co Styria

With TimberFlow, we have increased inventory turnover by 18 percent. The automatic recording of stock eliminates manual errors and gives us a reliable picture across all locations. The support is fast and competent.

How quickly is TimberFlow ready for use in our own operation?

The basic installation including connection to standard ERP systems usually takes two to three weeks. We handle the data migration from existing spreadsheets or legacy systems as part of the onboarding process. Afterwards, we train your dispatchers and production managers on-site or via remote session.

Which data is recorded for origin documentation?

All relevant stages of a batch are recorded: forest location and compartment number, transport route, incoming storage, drying, cutting, and delivery to the customer. Each step is stamped with a timestamp and the responsible person. The link to FSC or PEFC certificates is directly integrated into the form.

Does quality control also work on a tablet in the hall?

Yes. The mobile view is optimized for use on the production line. Measurement values can be entered via touch input, and photos of defects can be attached directly. Inspection reports are archived automatically and are immediately available for audits.

Can multiple locations be managed in one instance?

Yes, TimberFlow supports multiple tenants. You set up separate storage locations, machines, and user roles for each site. Inventory management runs across all locations in a central dashboard, so you can track transfers between plants.

How are access rights for employees and auditors managed?

You assign roles with individual permissions: dispatchers view inventory and plan batches, production records quality data, and management receives evaluations. Auditors receive time-limited read-only access to origin documentation without being able to make changes.

Is there an interface to my existing scale or saw line?

Standard interfaces are available for common scale systems and saw line controls. For special machinery, we check the connection via an open API in advance. Data transfer occurs in real time, so inventory remains up to date without manual intervention.
